District 15 recently posted an invitation to the Comrades in District 15. Recent Department General Orders (see vfwor.org) state guidance for Posts and Districts to hold their scheduled meetings and Elections that are a yearly occurrence. District 15 online meeting premiered last February 8th. A first of its kind throughout the State of Oregon for Districts and Posts. Little did we know what was brewing back in December over in China. A first for many of us in our lifetime, materialized a global pandemic of massive proportions. To date, changes to our daily living have been an ongoing hourly occurrence. To remain as safe as possible for all out comrades the online forum may be a familiar occurrence in the near future. Change is never easy for any of us, but for district 15 to have an online meeting under it's belt, it is reassuring to have that experience already. As the forerunner to the online procedure District 15 looks forward to helping those who may need assistance in the area.
